Assistant Vice President, Mr. Hughes works closely with clients in delivering financial services to both established and more recent clients, helping them grow and succeed.

Mr. Hughes’s primary responsibilities include outside sales of SouthStar’s wide variety of financial products, reviewing requests for funding, and assisting account managers in building and maintaining long-lasting, successful client relationships.

Prior to joining SouthStar, Mr. Hughes served as President of Catalyst Commercial Finance LLC, and brings to SouthStar more than three decades of asset-based financing and factoring experience.

Mr. Hughes graduated from Emporia State University in Emporia, KS, with a bachelor’s in business administration. He later graduated from Webster University with a Masters of Business Administration. Mr. Hughes enjoys spending time with his wife Kaye, dog Buck, and playing golf.
