Regional Vice President

As an important member of the Sales Leadership Team this position is responsible for business development in an identified geographic market. While acting as the name and face of SouthStar Capital, the Regional Vice President is expected to lead business development in the area by maintaining and growing SouthStar’s presence in the local community.

Because of the extensive relationships in the local market that this position requires, the ideal candidate would join the SouthStar team with an active and growing network in their local banking and business community.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and grow customer relationships through business development calls and active participation in community organizations
  • Participate in corporate strategic planning initiatives
  • Responsible for having some prior knowledge of commercial banking and finance products

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field
  • Prior professional experience in the financial services industry, business development or a related field.
  • Active involvement in the community
  • Basic understanding of the financial services industry and commercial lending
  • Excellent business development and prospecting skills with ability to build strong partner relationships
  • Outstanding communication, organization and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of local industries and current economic conditions
  • Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM, and PowerPoint

Account Manager (Charleston, SC)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships via excellent customer service
  • Deliver consistent and timely responses, follow-through, and follow-up in response to client requests
  • Maintain a clear picture of client’s business in consideration of future credit increases
  • Help clients with basic product related questions and troubleshoot scenarios
  • Serve as the liaison between clients and the SouthStar underwriting team
  • Follow up with clients to gather additional information and ask clarifying questions
  • Perform invoice verifications and/or debtor notifications
  • Update SouthStar systems in accordance with operational guidelines
  • Be a client advocate when called upon, providing SouthStar decision makers with additional data points
  • Stay alert for suspicious client behavior

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Account Manager for a Factoring Company
  • Financial acumen and strong ethics
  • Dependable, positive and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
  • Strong decision-making, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to deal well with ambiguity and maintain composure in unfamiliar situations
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate with keyboarding skills and competency with Microsoft Office
  • Friendly, superb client orientation
  • Able to learn and adapt rapidly; ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Self-motivated, and positive
  • Bachelor’s degree

Inside Sales Manager (Charleston, SC)

As the Inside Sales Manager at SouthStar Capital, you will help ensure the growth and profitability of SouthStar through efficient, accurate, and effective interaction with businesses across the United States. Primary Responsibilities

  • Recruiting, Hirinig & Training outbound telesales people.
  • Coaching, inspiring and motivating a sales team.
  • Sales training, development, and performance management.
  • A good understanding of the market dynamics in the respective sector.
  • Developing sales strategies to guarantee success and growth.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key corporate staff.
  • Handling customer questions.
  • Monitoring calls for quality assurance.
  • Forecasting and analyzing sales data.
  • Manage all appointments.

Qualifications

Client Services Representative (Charleston, SC)

As a member of the Client Services Group you will help ensure the growth and profitability of SouthStar through efficient, accurate, and effective interaction with businesses across the United States. Your typical day will consist of the following:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Interact with Prospects through phone and email communication
  • Enter data and information into Proprietary Software System
  • Interact with Prospects about funding their working capital needs
  • Maintain updated and complete Prospect profiles for future business.
  • Attend Weekly Sales meetings
  • Assist the Management Team, by requesting updated information for better sales results
  • Perform general tasks and other related duties as required or assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • A smart, quick learning extrovert not afraid of challenges.
  • A hard worker with the ability to have fun while working
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results oriented team environment
  • Self-Motivated problem solver with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
