Jimmy Howard

Mr. Howard joined SouthStar Capital in April of 2021 as an Underwriter, where he works with Operations and the Closing Department, assessing the risk of new deals, performing analysis on existing clients, and identifying solutions to alleviate risk.

Prior to SouthStar, Mr. Howard spent time in South Carolina and Kentucky underwriting as a Branch Manager in the consumer finance industry. This provided him with a risk-mitigating skill set, that he continues to utilize and sharpen to better position Southstar and its clients for increased success.

Mr. Howard is a Charleston native that graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Human Resource Management and Marketing.
