Todd Culbreth
Regional Vice President
Mr. Culbreth joined SouthStar Capital in 2016 as Assistant Vice President. He is responsible for the Charlotte, NC market where his role is to create and develop commercial lending opportunities with small to medium sized businesses. He brings a background of asset backed financing and experience in building lines of credit to help businesses grow. In 2017, Mr. Culbreth was promoted to Regional Vice President.
Before joining SouthStar, Mr. Culbreth was engaged in underwriting and structuring commercial financing through equipment leases and loans for Volvo Financial Services. Most recently he was in the energy sector as a trader and managed a renewable energy portfolio for XOOM Energy.
Mr. Culbreth graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a bachelor’s degree in business with a double major in finance and economics. He lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife and their pet hedgehog, Sherman.
